Concept & Design

Working in close liaison with our customers we establish a theme for the site based on your sales goals, dealership location, Domain Name, Products you wish to sell and the presence you wish to establish on the web.

Construction

Once we have the concept and design process complete we will begin construction of your site. We custom load your product database with quality Jpegs and well laid out text as befits the products you are selling, you get the products you want not complete PDF’s of catalogs. These are the latest and current products which are available from major Distributors and direct from Manufacturers and they are constantly updated by us as seasons and products change.

Merchant Services

Your site will be built with the latest merchant account for the checkout process.

This will include a secure HTTPS location so all customer and credit card data will be secure and encrypted.

We use Secure pay and process through our Nova hub at very competitive rates but you can use your own hub (assuming its compatible) if you prefer.

This merchant account set up combined with our training will make sure that credit card fraud will be kept to a minimum and that the only cards that get approved are the good ones.

Training

We will train your designated sales, shipping and Admin staff to handle web site operations including sales, (both online via email, livehelp and over the phone) as well as order fulfillment and order shipping both domestic and international.

E-Bay

We can set up your dealership E-Bay account and train your designated staff to use it. Ebay is an excellent platform for disposing of Non Current or Overstock or Scratch and dent items. You are far better off getting cash for these Items (even if its less than you want) rather than having them sitting on your books and paying to Store, Heat and cool them on a long term basis.

Support

Our support staff will be there during business hours via Email, Livehelp and phone and after hours via phone if necessary for assistance with sales, sites questions, support, database errors, international sales etc, remember you are our customer and when you look good we look good, so its in our interest to make sure you look good.

Livehelp

We have found this to be a very useful tool for starting and completing sales on a national and international basis. It is secure and provides a hard copy printout after the chat. It is free to the customer and requires no software downloads by the customers to use.

Maintenance/Updates

This is an ongoing job on a web site, New products are released regularly by Manufacturers and distributors and old ones are discontinued. With our custom Database program updates, you get the best of both worlds, you get new (hot) Products uploaded onto your site in a timely manner shortly after Online Dealer Development’s support staff get the information they need. You don’t have to wait for the mid year release of the distributors catalog to get it up there.

Discontinued and NLA available products are removed from the site as soon as we find out their status (if you desire) and therefore you don’t have to spend your time refunding customers for products you cant get, with the PDF catalog approach the products is on your web site until next years catalog comes out.

    The products you will be selling online are generally available from your existing distributors and you will be maintaining these accounts and increasing your purchases from them as your sales rise.

  4. Staffing
    Designated staff with a good attitude, who can be trained in Web site Operations, Sales, your customer support and Shipping. They don’t need to have years of experience, we prefer people with the right attitude to start with.
  5. Reports
    Sales reports on Web performance both online and over the phone, (generally derived from a report we can set up on your Dealer Management System)
